Granting Financial Help For Infertility Treatments...
 Fulfilling Dreams... Building Families...

Paying Forward a Blessing
Baby Quest is fortunate to have a couple who, because of their ability to pursue parenthood for many years until their daughter was born, has decided to pass that opportunity on to others. A yearly surrogacy grant has been established enabling Baby Quest to select one recipient yearly. As the first couple to be chosen, Ann Marie and David had been trying for years via IVF and had 6 losses. They soon found out Ann Marie was unable to carry a baby and turned to Baby Quest to help with having a family. A close friend offered as to be their gestational carrier to help them have the family they have dreamed always of.

HOW A TRAGEDY WILL PROVIDE
INSPIRATION & HOPE

The Lenehan family from Phoenix has established the Patty Paddock Second Chance IVF Grant to be given yearly to a deserving recipient from Arizona. Jill Lenehan's twin sister Patty suffered from severe endometriosis and was in the midst of fertility treatment when a tragic accident took her life. The family will support the grant through frequent fundraisers. To be considered, applicants must be struggling with infertility because of endometriosis. To acquaint the Arizona fertility community with this new opportunity, Jill and Baby Quest founder, Pamela Hirsch, are visiting numerous clinics in the area. The first grant deadline for this special award is November 7, 2018.

Brandon and Chelsia - Georgia
Upon serendipitously meeting on a comedy production set, Brandon and Chelsia began their adventurous journey as a couple in 2013. April 16, 2016, Brandon and Chelsia joined each other in marriage amongst the love and support of their families and friends. Throughout their relationship, they built a life that they one day hoped to share with the blessing of having their own family. After trying to conceive naturally for a year, Chelsia realized her teenage diagnosis of PCOS persisted. Trying multiple rounds of clomid, committing to yoga practice, chiropractic care and detoxifying their lifestyles, achieving pregnancy proved to be a feat that they approached with tenacity and hope.
Brandon and Chelsia decided to see a reproductive endocrinologist and began fertility treatment, taking several rounds of clomid, metformin and dexamethasone. Because insurance does not cover fertility treatments, Brandon and Chelsia exhausted their resources early on and reached the decision of moving forward with IVF with the support of their doctor. Chelsia found out about the Baby Quest Foundation on an infertility blog post and found a glimpse of light in the foundation’s mission to help couples fulfill their dreams of building families. With great faith and the generosity of Baby Quest, Brandon and Chelsia will now embark upon the journey of becoming proud parents.

Margaret and Ramona - Texas

Margaret and Ramona began dating in 2015 and planned to expand their large family (seven fur-babies!) after they wed in 2017. After meeting with a fertility specialist, Margaret was diagnosed with diminished ovarian reserve. After the heartbreak of four failed IUIs in five months, they decided to increase their chances of conceiving with their limited supply of donor sperm by proceeding with IVF. While they were financially prepared for the purchase of donor sperm and IUI, they were not prepared for the staggering cost of IVF. They were worried that their hopes of having a human baby would never be realized. As grant recipients, they have renewed hope that this expansion will occur.
What started out as something that they thought would be a straightforward process for a same-sex couple became a much different journey than what they had envisioned. The hope and heartbreak has brought them even closer together and more determined than ever to succeed. "We thank Baby Quest for being an LGBTQ ally and assisting us in our dream of starting our own family."

Jennifer and Casey – Minnesota
Jenny and Casey met at a campground in southern Minnesota in 1997 when they were 14 years old. Living about an hour away from each other, they kept in touch by writing letters back and forth and racking up their parents' long distance phone bills. They dated for 10 years before getting married in 2007, recently celebrating their 11th wedding anniversary.
Shortly after getting married, they decided it was time to start a family and were excited to begin their journey together as parents. Sadly after years of trying to conceive, they underwent extensive testing and found out that Jenny’s tubes were completely sealed and the only hope for them was IVF. Although this was hard news to take, they still had hope that a family was a possibility. Eventually, after some time passed, and saving what they could, they went through testing again to make sure they were still good candidates for IVF. During that time they had two extreme family tragedies which exhausted their savings, making the possibility of having a child far out of reach.
“We can’t possibly put into words the appreciation that we have for Baby Quest and what they have done for us. They have made what seemed like a far away dream become a very possible reality."
