Our Recipients

Bene and Sherell were second time applicants when selected as grant recipients. Already having had one unsuccessful IVF, the couple had exhausted their resources for another attempt.

Having faced many difficulties throughout the years as a same sex couple, Bene and Sherell understood the emotional impact their infertility struggles had on their everyday lives.

As they wrote in their application, “With the 10 year bond we share, starting a family in a manner that allows us both to be included is very important. At this point, the cost is our only roadblock. ”

Bene & Sherell received a grant and underwent infertility treatment which was not successful. We wish them success in the future.
