Our Recipients
Mel & TC –
Madison, WI
Mel and TC have undergone numerous procedures that were unsuccessful. Finally told they would need to use a donor egg and a find a surrogate to carry their baby, the couple is blessed to have Mel’s sister who has volunteered to carry.
Despite the many compromises they are making to conceive, Mel wrote, “What does it mean to be parents? Does it matter that our children will not have our blood type or eye color? These are hard questions, but for us the answer is ‘no.’ What matters is being a mom, a father, and parents. How we get there is just part of the story.”
Although Mel and TC were not successful in their attempts at assisted reproduction, they are anxiously awaiting becoming parents through adoption.
