Travis and Mia started dating in 2007 and have been married since 2013.

Three years ago, they decided it was time to start a family. Unable to conceive, the couple consulted a fertility specialist and it was determined that both of Mia’s fallopian tubes were completely blocked.

As Mia wrote in the couple’s application, “After almost three years of heartbreak, I am ready to create a life and be an amazing parent with my husband.”

Mia and Travis became parents to twin boys on December 12, 2018.
