Our Recipients

As a daughter of Haitian immigrants and as a State Legislator from Brooklyn, Rodneyse was faced with the tragedy of losing two babies in one pregnancy (twins).

The first miscarried at 14 weeks and the 2nd was born prematurely at 5.5 Months (22 weeks) due to cervix incompetency.

Her history of fibroids and the many different removal procedures caused scar tissue in her Fallopian tube, severely diminishing her chance to get pregnant naturally. For 7 years Rodneyse has been seeking fertility treatment.

She is grateful to be a recipient of the Baby Quest grant as she has exhausted her finances with no success.

Rodneyse has not yet been successful in her pursuit of a child.
