“While I was not selected, the time I spent reading the challenges your daughter faced as well as seeing all of the responses on your Facebook page from hopeful grant applicants, was in many ways, very therapeutic in my journey to build a family with my husband. Your foundation is amazing… you provided so much hope to the hundreds or possibly the thousands of applicants who applied. And if just the experience of applying for the grant was able to help me in some way, I know it helped others as well to either get through emotional challenges or to figure out a way to work the cost of treatment into their budget.”
